باب الرَّجُلِ يَسْتَأْذِنُ بِالدَّقِّ
Chapter: Asking permission to enter by knocking.
Hadith 5187
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرٌ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، " أَنَّهُ ذَهَبَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي دَيْنِ أَبِيهِ ، فَدَقَقْتُ الْباب ، فَقَالَ : مَنْ هَذَا ؟ قُلْتُ : أَنَا , قال : أَنَا أَنَا كَأَنَّهُ كَرِهَهُ " .
Jabir said that he went to the prophet ﷺ about the debt of my father. He said: I knocked at the door. He asked: who is there? I replied: it is I. he said: I, as though he disapproved of it.
