باب فِي سَلِّ السُّيُوفِ عِنْدَ اللِّقَاءِ
Chapter: Regarding Drawing Swords During The Encounter.
Hadith 2664
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ نَجِيحٍ وَلَيْسَ بِالْمَلْطِيِّ ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ : " إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ فَارْمُوهُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ وَلَا تَسُلُّوا السُّيُوفَ حَتَّى يَغْشَوْكُمْ " .
Narrated Abu Usayd as-Saeedi: The Prophet ﷺ said at the battle of Badr: When they come near you shoot arrows at them; and do not draw swords at them until they come near you.
