Hadith 2357
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Marwan ibn Salim al-Muqaffa' said: I saw Ibn Umar holding his bread with his hand and cutting what exceeded the handful of it. He (Ibn Umar) told that the Prophet ﷺ said when he broke his fast: Thirst has gone, the arteries are moist, and the reward is sure, if Allah wills.
Hadith 2358
حَدَّثَنَا
مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا
هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ
حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنْ
مُعَاذِ بْنِ زُهْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَفْطَرَ ، قَالَ : اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ " .
Narrated Muadh ibn Zuhrah: The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say when he broke his fast: O Allah, for Thee I have fasted, and with Thy provision I have broken my fast.
