باب زِيَارَةِ الْقُبُورِ
Chapter: Visiting Graves.
Hadith 2041
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَوْفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَخْرٍ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قُسَيْطٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيَّ ، إِلَّا رَدَّ اللَّهُ عَلَيَّ رُوحِي حَتَّى أَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامَ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: If any one of you greets me, Allah returns my soul to me and I respond to the greeting.
Hadith 2042
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ، قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تَجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ قُبُورًا ، وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا قَبْرِي عِيدًا ، وَصَلُّوا عَلَيَّ ، فَإِنَّ صَلَاتَكُمْ تَبْلُغُنِي حَيْثُ كُنْتُمْ " .
Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not make your houses graves, and do not make my grave a place of festivity. But invoke blessings on me, for your blessings reach me wherever you may be.
Hadith 2043
حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْنٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي دَاوُدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهُدَيْرِ ، قَالَ : مَا سَمِعْتُ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، حَدِيثًا قَطُّ غَيْرَ حَدِيثٍ وَاحِدٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : وَمَا هُوَ ؟ قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُرِيدُ قُبُورَ الشُّهَدَاءِ ، حَتَّى إِذَا أَشْرَفْنَا عَلَى حَرَّةِ وَاقِمٍ ، فَلَمَّا تَدَلَّيْنَا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا قُبُورٌ بِمَحْنِيَّةٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَقُبُورُ إِخْوَانِنَا هَذِهِ ؟ قَالَ : " قُبُورُ أَصْحَابِنَا " فَلَمَّا جِئْنَا قُبُورَ الشُّهَدَاءِ ، قَالَ : " هَذِهِ قُبُورُ إِخْوَانِنَا " .
Narrated Rabiah ibn al-Hudayr: Rabiah ibn al-Hudayr said: I did not hear Talhah ibn Ubaydullah narrating any tradition from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except one tradition. I (Rabiah ibn Abu Abdur Rahman) asked: What is that? He said: We went out along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who was going to visit the graves of the martyrs. When we ascended Harrah Waqim, and then descended from it, we found there some graves at the turning of the valley. We asked: Messenger of Allah, are these the graves of our brethren? He replied: Graves of our companions. When we came to the graves of martyrs, he said: These are the graves of our brethren.
Hadith 2044
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَاخَ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ الَّتِي بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ ، فَصَلَّى بِهَا " ، فَكَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ .
Nafi reported on the authority of Abdullah bin Umar “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made his Camel kneel down at Al Batha which lies in Dhu Al Hulaifa and prayed there. Abdullah bin Umar too used to do so. ”
Hadith 2045
حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ مَالِكٌ : " لَا يَنْبَغِي لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يُجَاوِزَ الْمُعَرَّسِ إِذَا قَفَلَ رَاجِعًا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ فِيهَا مَا بَدَا لَهُ ، لِأَنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَرَّسَ بِهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ الْمَدَنِيَّ ، قَالَ : الْمُعَرَّسُ عَلَى سِتَّةِ أَمْيَالٍ مِنْ الْمَدِينَةِ .
Narrated Malik: One should not exceed al-Muarras when one returns to Madina until one prays there as much as one wishes, for I have been informed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ halted there at night. Abu Dawud said: I heard Muhammad bin Ishaq al-Madini say: Al-Muarras lies at a distance of six miles from Madina.
