Ibn Abbas reported; when the prophet ﷺ recited: “Glorify the name of thy Lord, the Most High. ” He would say: ”Glory be to Allah, the most High”. Abu Dawud said; In this tradition the other narrators have differed from the narrator Wakl. This has been narrated by Wakl, and Shubah from Abu Ishaq, from Sa’ld bin Jubair, from Ibn Abbas as his own statement (and not from the Prophet)

883. Commentary:
➊ The reply to the verses is established both within and outside of prayer, and this is one such instance.
➋ This hadith is specifically for the reciter, that is, the one who is reciting and reading the Qur'an; from this, the reply by the follower (muqtadi) or the listener (sami') is in any case not established. Therefore, it is better for the follower and the listener to refrain from replying. «والله اعلم»
