Ammar bin Yasir said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A man returns after saying his prayer while a tenth part of his prayer, or a ninth part, or an eight part, or a seventh part, or a sixth part, or a fifth part, or a third part, or half of it, is recorded for him.

796. Commentary:
It is evident that this deficiency occurs due to distractions and stray thoughts during the prayer, as well as a lack of humility, submissiveness, and proper fulfillment of the pillars (ta'dil al-arkan), etc. This noble hadith is a reminder for all segments of Muslims—scholars and laypeople alike—that they should continually strive to improve their prayers, keeping this in mind.
