باب مَا يُسْتَفْتَحُ بِهِ الصَّلاَةُ مِنَ الدُّعَاءِ
Chapter: The Supplication With Which The Prayer Should Be Started.
Hadith 765
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ فِي التَّطَوُّعِ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
The above mentioned tradition has also been reported by Jubair bin Mutim through a different chain of narrators. This version adds: I head the Prophet ﷺ uttering (all these supplications) in a supererogatory prayer; he narrated the tradition in a similar manner.
