Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
709. Commentary:
➊ The person performing prayer should safeguard his prayer. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not even permit the passing of a young goat. ➋ That young goat passed from behind the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that is, in front of the followers (muqtadis), because for the followers, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself was the sutrah (barrier).

Benefits and Issues:
➊ The one performing prayer should not allow anything to pass in front of him.
➋ The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) moved forward so that the space for passing in front would become less, and the ewe would pass from behind.
➌ According to some scholars, this narration is authentic.
