1؎: That is, for the purpose of straightening the rows, if someone moves the worshippers forward, they move forward, and if he moves them back, they move back; or they fully observe tranquility and composure in the prayer, do not look here and there, and do not rub shoulders with one another. Some people have explained its meaning as follows: if someone wants to enter in the middle of the row to fill a gap between the rows or due to lack of space, they allow him to enter and do not resist him.

672. Commentary: That is, they cooperate with those who are arranging the rows, or they do not press their shoulders against the one standing next to them, but rather display gentleness. It has also been said that if someone needs space, they make room for them.
