581. Commentary:
This narration is weak in its chain of transmission; however, in terms of meaning, it is correct because near the Day of Judgment, there will be a lack of appreciation for Islamic knowledge. As a result, everyone will say to one another, "You lead the prayer; I am not qualified for it," because all of them will be devoid of knowledge of the Shari'ah. Therefore, whoever is competent—that is, endowed with knowledge and virtue—should not refuse this act without a valid reason. Furthermore, Muslims should continue to prepare such individuals who can take responsibility for their religious affairs.

Benefit:
This narration is weak in its chain of transmission.
However, in terms of meaning, it is correct.
This is because, near the Day of Judgment, there will be a lack of appreciation for Islamic knowledge.
As a result, everyone will say to one another, "You lead the prayer, I am not worthy of it," because all will be deprived of knowledge of the Shari'ah.
Therefore, whoever is qualified—that is, endowed with knowledge and virtue—should not abstain from acting (i.e., leading the prayer) without a valid reason.
