Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: When one of you is invited to take meals and comes along with the messenger, that serves as permission for him to enter. Abu Ali al-Lu'lu said: I heard Abu Dawud say: Qatadah did not hear anything from Abu Rafi.

Benefits and Issues: In light of circumstances and conditions, it can be considered whether there is a need for permission again or not. When there is no issue of veiling (purdah) or it is not a private gathering, then there is no need for permission. Otherwise, due to the presence of women in seclusion (masturat), notification will have to be given.
