Ibn Umar reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: One of the finest acts of kindness is for a man to treat his father’s friends in a kindly way after he has departed.

Zaid bin Thabit (RA) said: We took meal shortly before dawn along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) . We then stood up for prayer. I said: How much span of time was there between the two (acts, i. e. taking of Sahri and observing of prayer)? He said (a span of reciting) fifty verses.

Benefits and Issues: ➊ In Ramadan, there should be a considerable interval between the call to prayer (adhan) and the prayer (salah), and one should complete the pre-dawn meal (suhoor) before the adhan.
