Benefits and Issues:
Just as it is forbidden to betray a trust, likewise, if a Muslim brother seeks advice, it is obligatory that a person, to the best of his knowledge, gives complete and sincere advice for goodness and benefit, and does not withhold warning him of any possible danger. Furthermore, he should not unnecessarily spread his matter to others.

It is understood that the one from whom consultation is sought is considered trustworthy in the eyes of the one seeking advice. Therefore, the requirement of this trustworthiness is that he should give advice with honesty, and after giving advice, he should not disclose the secrets of the one seeking consultation to others.
