Narrated Anas ibn Malik: A man was with the Prophet ﷺ and a man passed by him and said: Messenger of Allah! I love this man. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then asked: Have you informed him? He replied: No. He said: Inform him. He then went to him and said: I love you for Allah's sake. He replied: May He for Whose sake you love me love you!
Explanation & Benefits

Benefits and Issues:
Loving for the sake of Allah has immense virtue.
For example, such people will be granted the shade of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, on the Day of Resurrection.
(Sahih al-Bukhari, al-Adhan, Hadith 660.
And Sahih Muslim, al-Zakah, Hadith: 1031) And the benefit of informing about this is that, in return, increased love will be reciprocated from the other side as well.
And on both sides, there will be mutual goodwill, and they will assist each other in acts of goodness.
And there will be no resentment in alerting one another to mistakes and shortcomings.
