1؎: Ta'reez or tawriyah refers to the use of such a word that has an apparent meaning, while the speaker intends another meaning contrary to the apparent one, which the word can also bear. This is, in a way, to put the listener into deception. For this reason, unless there is a Shari' (Islamic legal) benefit or such a necessity that there is no other alternative except this, doing so is not permissible.

Benefits and Issues: This narration is weak, but from other authentic ahadith it is known that deceiving a Muslim brother is a very grave and heinous sin. It is stated in Sahih Muslim: (al-yamin ‘ala niyyati al-mustahlif). In an oath, the meaning that will be considered valid is that which is intended by the one who is making another swear, not by the one taking the oath.
