Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: A man cursed the wind. The narrator Muslim's version has: The wind snatched away a man's cloak during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and he cursed it. The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not curse it, for it is under command, and if anyone curses a thing undeservedly, the curse returns upon him.

Benefits and Issues:
Some have also declared this narration to be authentic; therefore, it is not permissible to curse Allah’s creation except those whom Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) have cursed.
For example: the disbelievers, the wrongdoers, the liars, and so on.
As is mentioned in the supplication of Qunoot Nazilah: (اللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْكَفَرَةَ أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ الَّذِينَ يُكَذِّبُونَ رُسُلَكَ ، وَيُقَاتِلُونَ أَوْلِيَاءَكَ) “O Allah, curse the disbelievers from among the People of the Book who deny Your messengers and fight Your friends.”
“O Allah, send Your curse upon those disbelievers who hinder from Your path, deny Your messengers, and fight Your allies.”
