1؎: That is, do not say: "May Allah's curse be upon you," or "May Allah's wrath be upon you," or "May Allah admit you into Hell." This prohibition is specifically in the case where a person sends a curse upon a particular individual. However, if someone is sending a curse upon a general characteristic or a specific characteristic, for example, saying «لعنة الله على الكافرين», or «لعنة الله على اليهود», or if someone is sending a curse upon such a specific disbeliever whose death in a state of disbelief is known, then this is permissible, such as saying «لعنة الله على الكافرين», or «لعنة الله على أبي جهل».

´'Samurah bin Jundab narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` "Do not curse yourselves with Allah's curse, nor with His anger, nor with the Fire."
Shaykh Dr. Abdur Rahman Freywai
Explanation: 1: That is, when cursing one another, do not say: "May Allah's curse be upon you, may the curse of His wrath and the curse of Hell be upon you," because all these curses are for the disbelievers, polytheists, and the Jews and Christians, not for the Ummah of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam).
