Benefits and Issues:
➊
Those engaged in the blessed deeds of righteousness, goodness, enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong should not exceed the limits.
Moreover, they should not be deceived by their good deeds in any way, thinking that they will certainly enter Paradise, nor should they harbor the misconception regarding sinful Muslims that Allah will not forgive them or that they will not enter Paradise.
The scale of justice of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, is extremely precise and wondrous.
Whatever decisions Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has made and will make are all based on justice, and there is none who can question Him, while He can question everyone.
The noble statement is: (لَا يُسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْأَلُونَ) (Al-Anbiya: 23)
➋
Paradise is entirely the grace and favor of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; it is not a recompense or price for good deeds.
Good deeds are merely an expression of servitude.
The more a servant advances in expressing servitude, the more he should hope to become deserving of greater grace and favor, and at the same time, he should always remain fearful that all of this may not be accepted.
﴿Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed, You are the Hearing, the Knowing. Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim [in submission] nation to You. And show us our rites and turn to us. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.﴾
