Hadith 4852

A similar tradition has been transmitted by Ibn Umar through a different chain of narrators. This version has: Abu Salih said: I asked Ibn Umar: If they are four? He replied: then it does not harm you.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
Benefits and Issues:
If, among four people, two of them converse privately with each other, then this situation can be tolerated.
However, if among three people, two of them whisper to each other or speak in a language that the third does not understand, this will cause extreme discomfort for that third person, and this situation is also contrary to the honor and dignity of the third individual.
