Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: It is not lawful for a man to separate two persons except with their permission.

Benefits and Issues: It is not permissible to forcefully intrude between two Muslims who are already sitting together and to separate them by doing so; causing discord between two brothers is an even greater offense.
