Hadith 4830

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ،حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى . ح وحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا الْكَلَامِ الْأَوَّلِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ : وَطَعْمُهَا مُرٌّ ، وَزَادَ ابْنُ مُعَاذٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَنَسٌ : وَكُنَّا نَتَحَدَّثُ أَنَّ مَثَلَ جَلِيسِ الصَّالِحِ وَسَاقَ بَقِيَّةَ الْحَدِيثِ .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu Musa from the Prophet ﷺ through a different chain of narrators up to “and its taste bitter”. Ibn Muadh added: Anas said: We used talk to one another thet a good companion is like. . . He then transmitted the rest of the tradition.
