Hadith 4826

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيل ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو مِجْلَزٍ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَعَنَ مَنْ جَلَسَ وَسْطَ الْحَلْقَةِ " .
Narrated Hudhayfah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed the one who sat in the middle of a circle.

Explanation:
1:
This refers to the person who, instead of sitting at the edge of a gathering, steps over people's necks and sits in the middle of the circle, thereby coming between people.
However, a person who is being awaited specifically so that he may come and sit in the middle of the gathering is not included in this curse.
Note:
(There is a break in the chain of narration between Abu Mujliz and Hudhayfah radi Allahu anhu.)
