Narrated Abu Salamah ; Abu Hurairah: The Prophet ﷺ said: The believer is simple and generous, but the profligate is deceitful and ignoble.

´Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah said:` "The believer is naively noble and the stingy person is deceitfully treacherous."

Explanation: 1: That is, due to his nobility and simplicity, a believer does not become greedy for worldly benefit, even considering it to be a benefit; rather, at times, he is deceived and has to bear loss because of it. In contrast, a wicked (fajir) person deceives others and causes them harm, which is evidence of his vile character.
