Jabir reported the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: No one of those who took the oath of allegiance under the tree will go to hell.
Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
Benefits and Issues:
In the 6th year of Hijrah, at the place of Hudaybiyyah, when the rumor of the killing of Uthman radi Allahu anhu spread, the pledge that was taken from the Companions radi Allahu anhum was under an acacia tree.
This is what is being referred to in the hadith.
Allah Himself mentioned this tree and, regarding those who pledged allegiance, said: (radi Allahu anhum wa radoo anhu). For this reason, it is called the Pledge of Ridwan (Bay‘at al-Ridwan).
The number of Companions present in this was fourteen to fifteen hundred.

Explanation:
1:
It is said that by "the owner of the red camel" is meant Jadd ibn Qays, the hypocrite. His camel had gone missing, and he was told: "Come and pledge allegiance." He replied: "If my camel is returned to me, that is more beloved to me than pledging allegiance." (However, this hadith is weak, so it is not correct to assert this definitively.)
Note:
(In the chain of narration, Khaddash ibn ‘Ayyash is present, who is described as "len al-hadith," i.e., a weak narrator.)

Explanation: ➊ The tree under which the pledge was taken was an acacia (kikar) tree, and the pledge referred to here is the Pledge of Ridwan (Bay‘at al-Ridwan).
This took place in the 6th year of Hijrah at the location of Hudaybiyyah.
Approximately thirteen hundred Companions participated in it.
May the faces be covered with dust and may the ultimate end be ruined for those who speak nonsense about the noble Companions (radi Allahu anhum) and cast accusations upon them.
