The tradition mention above has also been transmitted by Abu Musa through a different chain if narrators. But there is no mention of demand of repentance.

1؎: This is contrary to the previous narration in which it is mentioned that Mu'adh radi Allahu anhu invited him to Islam but he did not accept it; however, this narration of Mas'udi is weak in its chain of transmission.
