Narrated Saad ibn Abu Waqqas: The Prophet ﷺ said: I hope my community will not fail to maintain their position in the sight of their Lord if He delays them half a day. Saad was asked: How long is half a day? He said: It is five hundred years.

Benefits and Issues:
Several meanings have been mentioned for this; one of them is that it pertains to the Day of Resurrection, meaning that on that day Allah, the Exalted, will admit the poor into Paradise first, and the wealthy will take five hundred years to join them.
This matter has also been mentioned in other ahadith.
