Hadith 434

Narrated Qabisah ibn Waqqas: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: After me you will be ruled by rulers who will delay the prayer and it will be to your credit but to their discredit. So pray with them so long as they pray facing the qiblah.

434. Commentary:
The details have been explained above, and such prayers will be a source of reward for you because in this delay, there will be no fault of your own. Since, due to the coercion of these authorities, you will not even have the courage to oppose them. Therefore, because of them, you will not be sinful for the delay in prayer; rather, the entire burden of sin will be upon them.
