حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الْحَفَرِيُّ ، عَنْ بَدْرِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " يَكُونُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ أَرْبَعُ فِتَنٍ فِي آخِرِهَا الْفَنَاءُ " .
Narrated Abdullah ibn Masud: The Prophet ﷺ said: four (majestic) trials (fitnahs) will take place among this community, and in their end there will be destruction.
Brief Explanation
1؎: In a hadith of Nu‘aym ibn Hammad’s *Kitab al-Fitan* and in al-Tabarani’s *al-Mu‘jam al-Kabir* from ‘Imran ibn Husayn radi Allahu anhu, it is stated that in the first tribulation (fitnah), blood will be made lawful; in the second, blood and wealth; in the third, blood (life), wealth, and private parts (chastity); and in the fourth, the emergence of the Dajjal.
