حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ إِسْحَاق ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " كُنْتُ إِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَفْرُقَ رَأْسَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَعْتُ الْفَرْقَ مِنْ يَافُوخِهِ وَأُرْسِلُ نَاصِيَتَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ " .
Narrated Aishah, Ummul Muminin: When I parted the hair of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ I made a parting from the crow of his head and let his forelock hang between his eyes.

Benefits and Issues:
To pluck the arched eyebrow is against the Sunnah of the Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) and is an imitation and resemblance of the polytheists and disbelievers. Therefore, Muslims should refrain from this bad habit, because the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) has stated: Whoever imitates a people is one of them.
(Sunan Abi Dawud, Al-Libas, Hadith: 4031)
