Hadith 4148

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " كَانَ فِرَاشُهَا حِيَالَ مَسْجِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " .
Narrated Umm Salamah, Ummul Muminin: Her bedding was in front of the place of prayer of the Prophet ﷺ.

➊ It is permissible for the husband and wife to have their own separate beds.
➋ If someone is sleeping in front of a person performing prayer, there is no harm in it.
