Narrated Ibn Abbas: The verse: "And say to the believing women that they should lower gaze was partly abrogated by the verse: "Such elderly women as are past the prospect of marriage. "

Benefits and Issues:
The following words of this noble verse are very important. Allah, the Exalted, says: If they remove their outer garments, there is no sin upon them, provided that they do not display their adornment. However, it is far better if they exercise caution in this matter. When it is forbidden and impermissible for elderly women to display their adornment, then it is even more forbidden for young maidens.
