Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
Benefits and Issues:
Although children, due to their childhood, are not legally responsible (mukallaf) for the rulings of the Shari‘ah, the parents and guardians are certainly responsible. Therefore, they should, while adhering to the limits set by the Shari‘ah themselves, to the best of their ability, have the children act accordingly as well, and thus become deserving of reward from Allah.
