Narrated Abu Saeed al-Khudri: The Prophet ﷺ said: A man from the Illiyyun will look downwards at the people of Paradise and Paradise will be glittering as if it were a brilliant star. He (the narrator) said: In this way the word durri (brilliant) occurs in this tradition, i. e. the letter dal (d) has short vowel u and it has no hamzah ('). Abu Bakr and Umar will be of them and will have some additional blessings.

Benefits and Issues:
In Surah An-Nur, the noble verse (written in Arabic) (: An-Nur:35), the word "durrīyy" is in the well-known recitation with a dammah on the letter dal, a shaddah on the letter ya, and a ra.
Whereas Hamzah and Abu Bakr recite it with a dammah on the dal and a hamzah, and Abu ‘Amr and Kisai recite it with a kasrah on the dal and a hamzah.

Hadith Commentary:
➊
All the believers from every nation will be in Paradise, but the lofty ranks will be granted only to the believers of this blessed Ummah, because affirmation of all the Messengers can only truly be conceived from them. In the narration of Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi, it is mentioned:
That Abu Bakr (radi Allahu anhu) and ‘Umar (radi Allahu anhu) will be among those people. It is narrated from ‘Ali (radi Allahu anhu) that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said:
“There will be lofty abodes in Paradise whose exterior will be visible from the interior and the interior from the exterior.”
A Bedouin asked:
“O Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam)! For whom will these abodes be?” He replied:
“These abodes are for those who speak gently, who fast continuously, and who stand in prayer at night while the people are asleep.” (Jami‘ at-Tirmidhi, al-Birr wa’s-Silah, Hadith: 1984)
➋
It should be clear that in Paradise, all the people of faith will be those who affirmed Allah and His Messenger (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam), but these people will be distinguished and prominent due to the aforementioned qualities, because they will have fulfilled the true right of faith and affirmation.

Commentary:
(1)
Our esteemed researcher has also declared this narration weak in its chain of transmission, and has further written that a supporting narration (shahid) of Hasan grade is found for a part of this narration. In addition, Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah has, considering all the collective chains, declared it authentic; see: (al-Rawd al-Nadhir fi Tartib wa Takhrij Mu‘jam al-Tabarani al-Saghir, Hadith: 970).
Therefore, it is understood that although this narration is weak in its chain, it is acceptable as evidence due to supporting narrations.
(2)
The difference between the ranks of Paradise is not a trivial matter; therefore, a believer should strive and exert as much effort as possible to attain the highest of ranks.
(3)
A star rising on the horizon, although it does not appear very high to the observer, is in reality at a great height.
The blessings mentioned in the various ranks of Paradise may not seem very different from each other at a superficial glance, but in reality, their mutual difference is so great that it cannot even be estimated.
(4)
A star shining in the sky is extremely far from the earth.
In the same way, the difference between the ranks of the people of Paradise is also very great.
(5)
One meaning of "an‘ama" is "to be more," that is, the rank of the two Shaykhs radi Allahu anhuma is very high.
Secondly, this word can also be derived from "ni‘mah" (blessing).
In this case, the meaning would be that these personalities are in great blessings and are honored with countless favors from Allah.
(6)
In this hadith, there is explicit mention of the lofty ranks of Abu Bakr and Umar radi Allahu anhuma.
Thus, in this hadith, there is a clear glad tidings of Paradise for these two eminent Companions.

Benefit:
This hadith is authentic with the wording that the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) said: "Those in the higher ranks of Paradise will be seen by those below them just as you see a rising star on the horizon, and Abu Bakr and Umar will be among them, and how excellent are both of them." [سنن الترمذي 3658 صحيح]
In this hadith, the ranks of Paradise are described, and also the virtue of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar (radi Allahu anhuma) is established.
