حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَارِيَةِ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ حُبَيْرٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّهُ قَرَأَهَا قَدْ بَلَغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي سورة الكهف آية 76 وَثَقَّلَهَا " .
Narrated Ubayy ibn Kab: The Prophet ﷺ read the Quranic verse: "Thou hast received (full) excuse from me (min ladunni)" and put tashdid (doubling of consonants) on nun (n).

Explanation:
1:
The well-known recitation is in this manner, that is, with a shaddah (gemination) on the letter noon, but Nafi‘ and others have recited it as ﴿مِنْ لَدُنِیْ﴾, that is, with only a simple kasrah (vowel) under the noon. In any case, the meaning is the same,
that is, certainly you have conveyed the excuse from my side.
