Authentication of the Hadith: Its chain of narration is weak. ➊ ‘Abdullah bin Sa‘d bin Furwah al-Bajali ad-Dimashqi was mentioned only by Ibn Hibban among the trustworthy narrators, and he said: «يخطئ» “He used to make mistakes.” [7؍39] ➋ Mughaltai al-Hanafi reported that as-Saji said: «ضعفه أهل الشام فى الحديث» “The people of al-Sham considered him weak in hadith.” [اكمال مغلطائي 2؍275 بحواله حاشيه تهذيب الكمال 4؍147] ➌ This narrator is of unknown status (majhool al-haal), therefore this chain is weak.
