Abdur Rahman ibn Bishr al-Ansari al-Azraq said: Two men from the locality of Kindah came while Abu Masud al-Ansari was sitting n a circle. They said: Is there any man who decides between us. A man from the circle said: I, Abu Masud took a handful of pebbles and threw at him, saying: Hush! It is disapproved to make haste in decision.

Benefits and Issues:
Benefit: This narration is weak in its chain of transmission.
However, its meaning is correct, that is, haste is disliked.
Furthermore, whether a judge appointed by the government sits on the seat of judgment to decide major matters, or someone happens to make a decision by coincidence,
the ruling is the same for both.
It is obligatory upon a person
that even within his own home, between his wife and children, he should act with truth and justice.
