Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Umar Farooq Saeedi
310. Commentary:
➊ Since istihada is an illness, this condition does not prevent a woman from acts of worship or her usual lawful activities.
➋ The narrations 309 and 310 in Sunan Abi Dawud are weak. However, it is established from other evidences that it is permissible to have marital relations with a woman experiencing istihada; most likely for this reason, Shaykh al-Albani rahimahullah considered both these narrations to be authentic.
