Benefits and Issues:
Some scholars have deduced from this hadith
that the conquest of Makkah took place as a result of a truce.
And some scholars say that no, this was an act of benevolence from the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) towards them.
And this is the correct view.
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) did not approve of declaring this sacred land as war booty (ghanimah) or fay’ (fay’).
From the very beginning, this was the center of Allah’s religion.
And it was here that the revelation began.
It was here that the first group was formed, which became the center of the Ummah.
The return of Islam and the Muslims here was regarded as a return to their own home.
When the inhabitants of this place entered Islam, they entered with complete sincerity.
