حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ السَّرْحِ ، حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي
يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، قَالَ : بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ افْتَتَحَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْوَةً بَعْدَ الْقِتَالِ ، وَنَزَلَ مَنْ نَزَلَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا عَلَى الْجَلَاءِ بَعْدَ الْقِتَالِ .
Ibn Shihab said “It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ conquered Khaibar by force. Its inhabitants who came down (from their fortress) for expulsion came down after fighting. ”

Benefits and Issues:
Its complete details have already been mentioned in the narration from Hazrat Ibn Umar radi Allahu anhu, Hadith number 3006.
However, later on, a treaty was made with them.
That they would cultivate these lands on a sharecropping basis (batai).
And they would be allowed to remain here as long as the Muslims wished.
