Narrated Mujammi ibn Jariyah al-Ansari,: Khaybar was divided among the people of al-Hudaybiyyah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided it into eighteen portions. The army contained one thousand and five hundred people. There were three hundred horsemen among them. He gave double share to the horsemen, and a single to the footmen.

Benefits and Issues:
The number of the mujahideen was given as an estimate.
Whereas the correct number was fourteen hundred.
And the number of horses was two hundred.
The permanent shares for the horses were four hundred.
And the mujahideen were fourteen hundred.
In total, eighteen hundred.
Or you may understand it this way: the shares of the two hundred horsemen were six hundred.
And the remaining twelve hundred mujahideen had twelve hundred shares, making a total of eighteen hundred.
