Hadith 2828

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَدَّاحُ الْمَكِّيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " ذَكَاةُ الْجَنِينِ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ " .
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet ﷺ said: The slaughter of embryo is included when its mother is slaughtered.

Benefits and Issues:
➊ If the offspring comes out alive, then it is obligatory to slaughter it.
➋ Otherwise, it is considered a part of the slaughtered mother.
➌ And it is lawful (halal).
➍ And its consumption is permissible.
