(1) The sacrifice of rams, sheep, and goats, etc., is permissible.

(2) It is recommended (mustahabb) to sacrifice a ram with horns, because the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) himself used to sacrifice rams with horns.

(3) From the blessed hadith, the recommendation of sacrificing rams that are horned, piebald, and male is understood. Furthermore, it is also permissible to sacrifice a castrated animal, as is mentioned in another hadith.

Benefits and Issues:

The sacrificial animal should also be beautiful in appearance.

By "male (faheel)" it is meant that it was not castrated.

It is permissible to offer both types of animals—male and castrated—for sacrifice.

The meaning of blackness in eating, walking, and seeing is that its mouth was also black, its feet were also black, and the area around its eyes was also black.
Such a ram is considered beautiful, and it also appears attractive and pleasing to look at.
