باب فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تُسْتَحَاضُ وَمَنْ قَالَ تَدَعُ الصَّلاَةَ فِي عِدَّةِ الأَيَّامِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَحِيضُ
Chapter: Concerning The Woman Who Has Istihadah, And (Those Scholars) Who Stated That She Should Leave The Prayer For The Number Of Days Which She Used To Menstruate.
Hadith 279
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ ، عَنْ عِرَاكٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : إِنَّ أُمَّ حَبِيبَةَ سَأَلَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدَّمِ ، فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : فَرَأَيْتُ مِرْكَنَهَا مَلْآنَ دَمًا ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " امْكُثِي قَدْرَ مَا كَانَتْ تَحْبِسُكِ حَيْضَتُكِ ، ثُمَّ اغْتَسِلِي " ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد : وَرَوَاهُ قُتَيْبَةُ بَيْنَ أَضْعَافِ حَدِيثِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ فِي آخِرِهَا ، وَرَوَاهُ عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ اللَّيْثِ ، فَقَالَا : جَعْفَرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ .
Aishah reported: Umm Habibah asked the prophet ﷺ about the blood (which flows beyond the period of menstruation). Aishah said: I saw her wash-tub full of blood. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said; Keep away (from prayer) equal (to the length of time) that your menses prevented you. Then wash yourself. Abu Dawud said: Qutaibah mentioned the name Jaftar bin Rabiah in the middle of the text of the tradition for the second time (i. e., Qutaibah, being doubtful about the narrator Jafar bin Rabiah, mentioned his name twice: once in the chain and again while reporting the text). Ali bin Ayyash and yunus bin Muhammad reported it on the authority of al-Laith. They mentioned the name Jafar bin Rabiah.
