Hadith 2720

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ ثَوْرًا عَنْ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ ، فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عَوْفِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ نَحْوَهُ .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Awf bin Malik Al Ashjai through a different chain of narrators.

And it is not appropriate for people to subject the rulers and leaders to criticism in every matter.
