حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ ابْنَ حَرْشَفٍ الْأَزْدِيَّ ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَن بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : كُنَّا نَأْكُلُ الْجَزَرَ فِي الْغَزْوِ وَلَا نَقْسِمُهُ حَتَّى إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَرْجِعُ إِلَى رِحَالِنَا وَأَخْرِجَتُنَا مِنْهُ مُمْلاةٌ .
Narrated One of the Companion: Al-Qasim, the client of Abdur Rahman, quoted one of the Companion of the Prophet ﷺ as saying: We would eat a camel on an expedition without dividing it, and when we returned to our dwellings our saddle-bags would be full with its flesh.
