Brief Explanation
1؎: The complete verse is as follows: «إلا متحرفا لقتال أو متحيزا إلى فئة فقد باء بغضب من الله» (Surah Al-Anfal: 16) "Whoever turns his back on them on such a day—except one who is maneuvering for battle or joining another company—he indeed draws upon himself the wrath of Allah." In the hadith, it is mentioned that the people considered themselves to be included in the purview of this verse, so the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) declared them to be among those who are excepted.

Benefits and Issues:
This chain of narration is not present in some manuscripts of Sunan Abi Dawud.
Apparently, its proper place is at the beginning of the book.
In any case, this is the chain of narration of Imam Abu Dawud.
Instead of appearing at the beginning, it has come in the middle of the book.
