Brief Explanation
1؎: Returning from jihad is equal in reward to jihad itself because when the mujahid set out for jihad, the preparations he made at that time caused him and his family certain difficulties. Now, with the mujahid’s return, those difficulties will come to an end, and by returning to his family, the strength and energy he regains will make him capable of setting out for jihad again.

Benefits and Issues: ➊ All the deeds of the mujahid become a means of nearness to Allah and elevation of ranks for him. ➋ After returning from jihad, the mujahid prepares again for jihad. ➌ He provides further strength and resources, and takes care of his family members. ➍ Therefore, his return is also, like jihad itself, a source of reward and merit.
