Narrated Abu Hurairah: A man asked the Prophet ﷺ whether one who was fasting could embrace (his wife) and he gave him permission; but when another man came to him, and asked him, he forbade him. The one to whom he gave permission was an old man and the one whom he forbade was a youth.

Benefits and Issues: Since the emotions of an elderly person are generally controllable, permission has been granted to him; however, for those whose control is difficult, permission has not been given. Therefore, if someone fears that kissing and embracing may lead to intercourse or ejaculation, he should refrain. And if ejaculation occurs, making up the fast (qada) will become obligatory.
