Chapter: Regarding Li’an (Mutual Cursing).
Hadith 2247
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ ،حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَضَرْتُ لِعَانَهُمَا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً ، وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ ، قَالَ فِيهِ : ثُمَّ خَرَجَتْ حَامِلًا ، فَكَانَ الْوَلَدُ يُدْعَى إِلَى أُمِّهِ .
Sahl bin Saad Al Saeedi said “I attended the invoking of the curses with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when I was fifteen. He then narrated the rest of the tradition. In this version he said “She then came out pregnant and the child was ascribed to its mother.
