Hadith 2205

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ،عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، فِي أَمْرُكِ بِيَدِكِ ، قَالَ : " ثَلَاثٌ " .
Qatadah reported on the authority of Al Hasan the uttering of the words “Your matter is in your hand” amounts to three pronouncements of divorce.

Benefits and Issues:
This is the statement of a Tabi‘i.
It is not the saying of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Moreover, both of the aforementioned narrations are weak in their chains of transmission.
Nevertheless, if the husband intended divorce by this phrase, then divorce will take place, but it will be counted as one divorce.
