باب فِي أَمْرُكِ بِيَدِكِChapter: Regarding The Phrase: ’Your Matter Is In Your Hands’.
Hadith 2205

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ،عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، فِي أَمْرُكِ بِيَدِكِ ، قَالَ : " ثَلَاثٌ " .
Qatadah reported on the authority of Al Hasan the uttering of the words “Your matter is in your hand” amounts to three pronouncements of divorce.
Brief Explanation
1؎ : The meaning of «أمرك بيدك» is: "Your affair is in your hands," that is, you have the authority. According to some, this results in one divorce (talaq), and it is narrated from Hasan al-Basri that three divorces will occur from this. However, from the aforementioned hadith number (2203) of Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha radi Allahu anha, it is understood that nothing will occur.

Benefits and Issues:
This is the statement of a Tabi‘i.
It is not the saying of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Moreover, both of the aforementioned narrations are weak in their chains of transmission.
Nevertheless, if the husband intended divorce by this phrase, then divorce will take place, but it will be counted as one divorce.
This is the statement of a Tabi‘i.
